About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mental Health Clinician (AHP - Social Worker/Occupational Therapist/ Psychologist) to join a dynamic CYMHS team in regional Victoria. This is a critical intake role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to early intervention and quality mental health care for children and adolescents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for children and young people presenting with mental health concerns.
* Triage referrals and determine appropriate pathways for care.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
* Provide brief interventions and crisis support as needed.
About You:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, or Occupational Therapy.
* Full AHPRA or AASW registration.
* Demonstrated experience in CYMHS intake or similar mental health triage roles.
* Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Ability to start immediately or within a short timeframe.
