YEM Technology is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at the Sino Iron Project, located at Cape Preston, 100 km southwest of Karratha in Western Australia.
This is a FIFO role from Perth.

About the Role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in project management and provide operational support throughout the Power Station.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Carry out improvements and technical fault finding for power generation equipment
* Ensure safe operation of the Power Station equipment and systems
* Manage gas pipeline and gas stations projects
* Manage and monitor the operation and maintenance of gas turbine, steam turbine, HRSG and auxiliary equipment
* Manage routine inspections, testing, modifications and preventative maintenance tasks to keep the Power Station running smoothly
* Troubleshoot and diagnose issues and manage corrective maintenance as required
* Prepare change management document, including risk assessment, description of change, drawings, etc.
* Prepare procedures to provide instructions to technicians
* Prepare technical notices
* Prepare maintenance activity list and management plan
* Prepare monthly plan and report
* Manage spare parts, prepare ANSI, MESI to keep reasonable store level
What We're Looking For
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* 5 years experience as a Mechanical or Thermal Power Engineer
* Experience in project management
* Australian recognised Mechanical Engineering degree
* Australian work rights
