We are seeking caring, supportive, reliable individuals who want to start a rewarding career in aged care. Training is provided on the job, with attendance at training days and support from a workplace Buddy/Mentor and leadership teams. This is a part time trainee position with a structured pathway to qualification.
Responsibilities
Assist residents in a Residential Aged Care setting with daily living activities and lifestyle support.
Provide personal care (showering, dressing, grooming) and help with daily routines.
Support residents with meals, bed making, room tidying, and setting tables and meals.
Engage residents in social activities and maintain a caring, supportive environment.
Work with the established team and participate in on-the-job training and development.
Qualifications & Requirements
No prior experience or qualifications required; training will be provided on the job to achieve a Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021).
Willingness to learn, reliable, and have a outstanding attitude.
Pass a National Police Check (arranged by us if needed).
Valid working rights in Australia and reside in Australia.
Access to State Funding for training must be as a Permanent Resident or Citizen.
Availability to work AM shifts (6:30am–2:30pm), PM shifts (2:30pm–10:00pm), and attend training (9:30am–4:30pm).
Minimum of 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Be prepared to undertake a 24-month traineeship with fixed shifts; after qualification (approximately 12–15 months), move to the qualified rate.
What We Offer
Part-time traineeship with a minimum of 15 guaranteed hours per week, up to 35 hours.
