About the Graduate Program
We invite recent or soon-to-be graduates to take part in a two-year fixed-term contract as a Graduate Safety and Environmental Engineer based in Rooty Hill, NSW. This immersive program provides practical learning through fundamental tasks and meaningful work.
The program includes continuous coaching, mentorship, and formal training, allowing participants to rotate through diverse business units. This structure ensures a thorough understanding of operations and strategic initiatives, combining on-the-job learning with formal education. As a Graduate Safety and Environmental Engineer, you will have the opportunity to drive projects to identify and mitigate risks across operations, improve onsite safety procedures for a secure workplace, monitor and assess environmental aspects of the production site, ensure Regulatory Compliance, and cultivate a safety-conscious culture.
Eligibility Criteria:
* A genuine passion for Safety within the operational context of steel manufacturing and distribution.
* Australian/NZ citizenship or a visa granting unlimited working rights.
* Completion of a relevant Australian tertiary degree within the past three years (or set to conclude).
* Less than two years of full-time, discipline-specific work experience.
