Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne is a four-and-a-half-star hotel located on the picturesque banks of the Yarra River in Richmond. Part of the Amora Hotels & Resorts Group, with properties across Australia and Thailand, the hotel features 157 beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites, including 45 stylish new rooms added as part of a recent expansion. Our restaurant operates Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner seven days a week, complemented by two bars and 15 versatile conference and banquet spaces, making Amora Herencia Riverwalk Melbourne a dynamic and rewarding hospitality environment.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Part Time Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office Team.
Your warm and welcoming smile, positive can-do attitude and a willingness to ensure that our guests have the most memorable stay are all attributes that come naturally to you.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Check-in and Check-out our guests, making the process feel swift and seamless
* Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
* Assisting with general guest enquiries
* Guest services including concierge and porter
* Staying one step of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
* Maintaining accurate accounts
* Ensure all of our guests have a memorable experience at our great hotel
What we’re looking for

* Ability to work well under pressure
* Willingness to use initiative and ability to solve problems
* A hands-on approach and to be adaptable to workplace situations
* Team orientated
* Great organizational skills
* A friendly and outgoing personality
* Excellent presentation and grooming
* Ability to work a seven-day rotating roster with various shifts including occasional Night shift
* Ideally, with previous Hotel Front Office experience
* Previous experience with Opera PMS will be highly regarded.
* Strong literacy skills
