With the expansion of the multi-entity organisation now including Yugen Tea Bar, and soon to be Yugen, we are on the hunt for the best talent to take event space operations to the next level.
THE ROLE
The
Events Manager will be responsible for leading, executing and planning for small, medium and large scale events in multiple spaces throughout the venue. With exceptional knowledge of high quality service as well as health and safety provisions, the Event Manager will be responsible for
taking enquiries,
developing run sheets,
coordinating logistics and liaising with internal departments of the group.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing event ideas and delivering high world class event right from inception to delivery
Managing event deadlines, timelines and schedules
Briefing and debriefing the events team, including performance management
Managing the Event Calendar for the client and coordinating other engagements
Work closely with the Executive Chef and General Manager to ensure events are creatively conceptualised, planned and seamlessly executed
Develop and maintain solid and trusting relationships with key stakeholders.
THE MUST HAVES
At least 3 years experience in event management
Experience in developing event planning and strategies
Ability to adapt to the changing event environment
Exceptional communication and leaderships skills
Outstanding pressure management mindset.
