Investment Data Systems Analyst
to join their team on a
long-dated 9-month contract

The ideal candidate will bring extensive asset management Investment Data Systems Analyst experience, with additional experience across project management, change consulting and business analysis.
Our client has embarked on an ambitious transformation journey over the past few years, significantly enhancing its investment data and technology capabilities. As part of this transformation, they have established a dedicated
Investment Data function
, which includes three key teams: Data Operations and Change, Data Governance and Experience, Relationship and Business Unit Management.
As well as managing the end-to-end lifecycle of the investment data, the Data Operations and Change team also manages the delivery of new investment data and investment technology services and capabilities to our investment teams, through a cross-Agency pillar engagement model.
An exciting opportunity is offered to an Investment Data Systems Analyst who has outstanding project management capabilities to step into an important role within the ID function, focusing on implementing cutting-edge investment data solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to support the delivery of key projects for the Investment Data Management team which will uplift core capabilities:
Responsibilities:
· Understand the IDM project objectives and requirements to ensure the right context is applied to all activities.
· Define project scope including project objectives, outputs and outcomes that support business objectives, working in collaboration with the project sponsors and stakeholders.
· Work with the Project Sponsor(s) to identify and define project success criteria and communicate them to project stakeholders and other interested parties.
· Develop, document and maintain the requisite project plan and schedule that clearly defines the project phases, key activities, timeframes and roles and responsibilities.
· Establish and manage the project controls to ensure that the project is progressing on track and delivering outputs consistent with the agreed project scope and plan/schedule.
· Identify and escalate project risks, and co-ordinate the development and implementation of effective risk mitigation strategies.
· Actively liaise with project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure they are engaged, that their input is being sought and their expectations are being managed.
Ideal Profile:
Ideally you will have considerable Investment Data Systems Analyst experience to support this Investment Data function with this prominent asset manager. This position is ideally set to be based in their Melbourne office, although applicants based in Sydney [who are willing to travel frequently to Melb] will also be considered.
The best applicants for this position will have considerable Investment Data Systems Analyst experience, coupled with a strong background in project management, business analysis and change management.
