Overview
Function Manager | Matthew Flinders Hotel — We're looking for a Function Manager who thrives on managing events from high-end weddings to large-scale seminars and community celebrations. You will lead a team in a fast-paced environment and ensure every guest leaves with a high-five experience.
Responsibilities
* Be the face and conductor of the function's orchestra, leading the team from concept to completion.
* Work closely with the Publican and Assistant Managers as part of the leadership team.
* Share your passion, skills, and creativity to develop a high-performing function and events team.
* Deliver exceptional functions and events with excellent service and attention to detail.
Inherent Requirements
* A hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g., moving stock, kegs, deliveries). Applicants must be able to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

* You have experience, confidence, and pride to own the functions and events space, including people and parties.
* Hospitality-focused with guest satisfaction as a driver.
