We are seeking an experienced Linux System Administrator to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our Linux systems, ensuring they are secure, stable, and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation and configuration of Linux OS on embedded hardware or development boards.
* Managing system processes, users, and permissions.
* Configuring and maintaining network services.
* Handling system logs and debugging kernel or system issues.
* Implementing security hardening and access control policies for real-time environments.
Requirements:
* Over 9+ years of extensive experience in Unix/Linux system administration and network management.
* Strong working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, including related services (EC2, EKS, etc.) and cloud tools such as Ansible, XLR, and Terraform.
* Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Python) for automation and task management.
* Experience with version control and configuration management tools such as Git, SVN, or Bitbucket.
* Understanding of embedded hardware architectures with working knowledge of bootloaders and device drivers.
