Senior marketing manager

Yarra Glen
Goodlife Health Clubs
Marketing Manager
Posted: 7 May
Offer description

This is an opportunity to turn strategy into real, visible impact across one of Australia's largest fitness networks.

As Senior Marketing Manager for Goodlife, you will bring the brand to life across 90+ clubs, shaping how Australians discover, experience, and choose Goodlife every day. Sitting at the centre of execution, you will translate direction into campaigns that drive member growth, build brand strength, and deliver measurable commercial results.

This role goes beyond campaign delivery. It is about creating momentum at scale. From new product launches to local club activity, you will connect national thinking with local execution, ensuring every touchpoint works harder to attract, convert, and retain members.

You will partner closely with teams across Marketing, Operations, Digital, and Sales, aligning activity to performance and ensuring marketing shows up where it matters most, in clubs, in communities, and in the moments that influence decision making.

This is a role for someone who thrives in pace and complexity. Someone who is curious, commercially minded, and energised by seeing their work translate into real outcomes. If you are motivated by building campaigns that do more than look good and instead drive growth, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact at scale.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Execute the annual marketing plan, ensuring all activity drives member acquisition, retention, and brand growth
* Own the end-to-end campaign calendar, delivering integrated campaigns across club openings, refurbishments, product launches, partnerships, and tactical activity
* Act as brand guardian, ensuring all campaigns are consistent, on‐brand, and aligned to Goodlife's positioning
* Lead creative development and content production with internal teams and agency partners, from briefing through to delivery
* Manage agency and partner relationships, holding them accountable for quality, timelines, and outcomes
* Oversee media planning and execution across all channels, ensuring strong alignment to strategy and commercial objectives
* Manage marketing and media budgets with discipline, optimising spend for maximum return on investment
* Deliver campaigns with pace and precision, ensuring all activity is on time, on budget, and compliant
* Translate national campaigns into effective local execution, partnering with clubs to drive impact in local markets
* Lead digital marketing execution across paid, owned, and earned channels, including social, SEO, and lifecycle communications
* Partner with cross‐functional teams to optimise web and app experiences, improving engagement and conversion
* Leverage data, insights, and attribution to continuously refine targeting, channel mix, and campaign performance
* Measure and report on campaign effectiveness, connecting marketing activity to member growth and commercial outcomes
* Lead, coach, and develop a high‐performing team, fostering accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement
* Champion smarter ways of working, including the adoption of AI and test‐and‐learn approaches to drive efficiency and innovation
About You

You are a commercially minded marketer who knows how to turn strategy into execution that delivers real, measurable impact. You thrive in fast‐paced environments where priorities shift, decisions are data‐informed, and great marketing is defined by outcomes, not outputs. You balance creativity with discipline, bringing ideas to life in ways that drive both brand strength and commercial growth.

You are confident working across multiple stakeholders, channels, and campaigns at once, and you take pride in delivering work that is both strategically sound and flawlessly executed. You are equally comfortable in the detail of performance data as you are presenting ideas, influencing stakeholders, and guiding teams to deliver great work.

Most importantly, you care about making marketing work harder. You are curious, proactive, and always looking for better ways to connect brand, media, and customer experience.

Experience & Skills
* Experience in marketing with strong exposure across brand, campaign, and digital execution
* Proven ability to translate marketing strategy into effective, high‐impact campaign delivery

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate strategy, performance, and recommendations
* Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
* Confident working in fast‐paced, dynamic environments with shifting priorities and tight timelines
