We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to lead our pastry and dessert section.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in baking, decorating, and innovating pastry items, while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, and food safety.
Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and execute a wide variety of pastries, desserts, cakes, and baked goods.
Design and develop new recipes and seasonal dessert menus.
Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation across all pastry items.
Supervise and train junior pastry staff, bakers, and assistants.
Manage ingredient inventory, stock rotation, and cost control.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards in the pastry kitchen.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team for menu planning and special events.
Stay updated on modern pastry trends, techniques, and presentation styles.
