Job Description
As a Defence Training Area Range Caretaker, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and operational readiness of the TAR facility at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain a continuous presence to oversee and secure the TAR facility.
* Provide general oversight and security of the TAR facility around the clock.
* Be available on an on-call basis to perform minor corrective works as needed.
* Develop and deliver presentations to Defence stakeholders and record outcomes.
* Conduct thorough inspections after every use to identify any damage, vandalism, or theft.
* Ensure the facilities are safe, operational, and ready for the next user.
Required Skills and Qualifications
You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a team environment. A strong understanding of security protocols and procedures is also essential.
