This full-time position offers the opportunity to work closely with multiple orthopaedic surgeons, a diverse allied health team, and a high-performing patient services division.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in medical administration or patient services, strong initiative, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
About the Role
* To provide exceptional customer service to patients, GPs, surgeons, and allied health providers.
* To review referrals, manage appointments, and coordinate patient flow effectively.
* To schedule surgeries and coordinate operating theatre lists efficiently.
* To prepare accurate fee estimates for patients and handle associated invoicing tasks.
* To reconcile Medicare, DVA, WorkCover, and private health fund accounts accurately.
* To provide administrative support to general practitioners and assist with broader clinic and operational tasks as required.
