Key Responsibilities
* Deliver procurement services aligned with governance, Council policy, and legislation.
* Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement best practices.
* Support end-to-end tendering processes, including contract preparation, evaluation, and documentation.
* Maintain supplier records, assist in compliance reporting, and ensure accurate documentation.
* Promote high standards of probity and accountability in procurement activities.
* Support daily operational tasks such as purchasing requests, supplier onboarding, and reporting.
* Contribute to health, safety, and sustainability goals through procurement decisions.
The Ideal Candidate
An experienced procurement professional with skills in purchasing, tenders, and contract administration. Ability to interpret procurement policies, collaborate with operational teams, and ensure compliance. Experience in government or regulated environments is highly regarded.
