Our Outside School Hours Care service, Helping Hands Ipswich Junior, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for primary‐age children. This is a permanent part‐time opportunity offering 18 hours per week to assist with leading a team of passionate educators.
You'll work split shifts, supporting our Monday‐Friday hours: 6:30 am‐9:00 am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00 pm‐6:00 pm (Stay and Play). Extra hours are also available during school holidays.

About the role
Co‐manage a dynamic team of Educators, leading a vibrant before‐and‐after‐school program at a primary school, guiding children aged 5‐12 through fun and enriching activities.
* Develop and facilitate an engaging child‐centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
* Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management.
* Manage day‐to‐day operations including compliance and administration.
Requirements
* Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact.
* Communicates clearly and confidently.
* Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role.
* Holds or is willing to obtain a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
* Has Australian work rights.
* Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
