Jemalong Retirement Village is a 105-bed residential aged care home.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity, available due to an internal promotion.We are looking for an experienced nurse manager with strong leadership, a passion for person-centred care, and the ability to foster a positive team environment.
You will oversee day-to-day operations of the 105-bed, single-level home, ensuring high standards of care and service for residents.
You will be supported to focus on operational and clinical leadership, quality improvement and community engagement, within a stable, well-staffed workplace.You will be supported by a dedicated leadership team and regional/centralised support from HR, Recruitment, Workforce Rostering and Operational teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred careEnsure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards and Accreditation requirementsDrive continuous improvement in clinical outcomes and resident experienceOperational planning, budgeting, and resource managementBuild strong relationships with residents, families, employees, and the wider communityWhat You'll BringBachelor of Nursing tertiary qualificationCurrent AHPRA registration as a Registered NurseAt least 5 years of relevant nurse leadership/management experienceIn-depth knowledge of aged care legislation, strengthened standards, and AN-ACC processesProven leadership in healthcare operations, including rostering and financial oversightCollaborative, compassionate leadership style and excellent communication skillsWhy join us?
