Job Summary
As a Retail Sales Consultant, you are passionate about delighting Telstra's customers through outstanding customer service. You achieve this by providing an exceptional in-store customer journey and by empowering customers through identifying the products and services they need to transform their telecommunications experience.
Roles and Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer experiences by helping customers find the right products and services to suit their needs and ensuring their time at Telstra is memorable.
* Act as a go‐to tech expert, staying up-to-date with the latest gadgets and services, and offering informed guidance and solutions.
* Use consultative selling skills to meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Collaborate closely with your team to create a welcoming environment where everyone is supported to achieve store goals.

* Solution‐oriented mindset with the ability to think on your feet and tailor solutions for each customer.
* Sales drive and motivation to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

* Resilience, positivity and a can‐do attitude, even during busy periods.
* Previous customer‐facing experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
Compensation and Benefits
* Hourly rate: $33.33 per hour (Junior rates for those under 20 years of age).
* Penalty rates: 25% for weekday hours after 6PM, 25% for hours on Saturday, 100% for hours on Sunday, and 150% for hours on public holidays.
* 12% superannuation and 10% variable remuneration (subject to eligibility and plan rules; first 2 months guaranteed while you learn on board).
