Do you have a passion for procurement and supply chain management?
We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Buyer to join our procurement team at our Wetherill Park Head Office.
In this key role, you will oversee the sourcing and coordination of non‑meat products and services that support our production and operational needs. You will work closely with third‑party suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure materials are delivered on time, to specification, and in line with BE Campbell Group's quality and compliance standards.
Your expertise in procurement, supplier management, and cross‑functional collaboration will help us maintain strong supply chains, optimise costs, and identify new opportunities for continuous improvement
Key responsibilities of this role include:
* Upholding GMP and GHP standards in all procurement activities to ensure compliance and protect product integrity
* Sourcing, assessing, and onboarding new or alternative vendors for packaging, ingredients, and indirect materials
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and partners
* Negotiating contracts, pricing, and commercial terms to secure value and mitigate supply risk
* Monitoring supplier performance, investigating discrepancies, and driving improvement plans
* Supporting cross‑functional teams to ensure efficient procurement processes and clear communication
* Analysing market trends and data to identify opportunities for innovation, cost optimisation, and process improvement
* Providing subject‑matter expertise in procurement systems, documentation, compliance, and reporting
* Supporting BEC's sustainable initiatives, sourcing sustainable packaging formats and identifying opportunities to reduce wastage

About you
You are an experienced procurement professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and knows how to build strong, collaborative relationships. Your commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and ability to identify opportunities make you a trusted partner across the business.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar procurement role
* Strong strategic thinking and planning capability
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organisational and time management abilities
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
* FMCG industry experience (highly desirable)
* SAP Experience (highly desirable)
