Following the withdrawal of a locum, Toowoomba Hospital has a requirement for either a Locum Stroke Physician or Neurologist over the following dates. Candidate must have specialist registration with AHPRA. START: Monday 8 September 2025 (0800) FINISH: Friday 19 September 2025 The daily rate will be as per B45 Policy - $2303.70 per day plus GST The duties include, but are not limited to daily ward round in the stroke unit to attend to any stroke related patients from the ED and rural facilities. Stroke clinic Tuesday morning Experience in hyperacute stroke management (CT prefusion reading and thrombolysis as well as assessing for patients for Clot retrieval ) is expected. Emergency hyperacute stroke consultations to satellite hospitals in the district. Supported with registrar and Intern Roster is Monday to Friday 0800-1630 with oncall required.
