1 PT role Available approx 20 hours/fortnight
As An Assistant In Nursing Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Assisting nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
* Working as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters
* Assessing patients using therapeutic skills
* Answering patient/visitor/customer enquiries

To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills and attributes:
* Certificate IV in ACUTE Health Care from an approved training provider
* More than 2 years' experience in an acute care hospital
* Excellent customer service skills
* Demonstrated, effective written, verbal communication
* Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work
* Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
* Experience working in the private healthcare system
* Flexibility to manage shift work (including, day & night shifts) over 7 days
