Health Support Services (HSS) is the Western Australian Government agency that provides shared services to the state's public health system.
We offer a suite of financial, ICT, procurement and supply, and workforce services to more than 65,000 employees across WA's public health services and hospitals.
Responsibilities
Providing strategic oversight and authoritative decision-making in procurement governance by approving high-level policy authorisations and exemptions previously approved by the Chief Procurement Officer.
Partnering with the Chief Procurement Officer to proactively lead and drive a comprehensive program of procurement reforms.
Providing strategic procurement advice and assisting with the standardisation of procurement practices and procedures.
Providing procurement knowledge and awareness using a range of media to educate end users on procurement policy, process and systems.
Leveraging existing procurement education programmes in collaboration with public and private organisations to minimise re-work and duplication of effort.
