Customer Service Representative - Health Food Store
Miss Spelt's Organics, a family-owned health food business in Healesville, Yarra Valley, is seeking an experienced team member to join our growing operation. We specialize in health food products, supplements, and bulk foods while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
We're looking for a seasoned professional with extensive health food retail experience who can work collaboratively across diverse teams and provide leadership when needed. The successful candidate will be proactive, organized, and skilled in delegation, time management, and conflict resolution.
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 3 years health food retail experience is a must
* Qualification in naturopathy or nutrition is an advantage
* Ability to work in a team with multiple personalities
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Proficiency with computer systems and Outlook mail
* Ability to work independently while following direction
* Outstanding customer service capabilities
* Empathetic approach with genuine desire to help others
* Positive, friendly demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
* Naturopathy, Nutrition, or related certification
* Experience in stock merchandising and visual displays
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct over-the-counter and phone sales
* Proactive up-sell & cross-sell
* Provide knowledgeable health advice to customers
* Manage inventory and merchandising activities
* Handle daily stock operations including ordering, receiving, and restocking
* Complete daily sales reconciliation
* Maintain store presentation and cleanliness standards
