About the role
We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced female Disability Support Workers to join our team on the Southern Sunshine Coast. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in mental health and with alcohol dependence, providing you with the skills needed to make a difference and achieve desired outcomes.
You will be supported by an experienced team leader and have access to additional training to manage the complexities of this role. You will also be key in assisting with the client’s individual care needs in areas such as wellbeing, housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily activities.

What do I need?
* A minimum of 12 months local work experience in the Disability Sector
* A Certificate III in Individual Support or a Certificate IV in Disability
* Practical experience working with challenging behaviours – MAYBO training highly regarded.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and current Blue Card.
* Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.
* Resilience and the ability to work within a team.
