At Signature Off Road Campers & Caravans, we design and build premium off-road campers and caravans built for Australia's toughest adventures. We're looking for a motivated, skilled & Experienced Auto Electricians & Mechanics to join our production team. You'll play a key role in the Mechanical & Electrical fit-out, assembly, and final preparation of our new off-road campers and caravans.
Key Responsibilities
* Install and wire 12V & 48V electrical systems
* Battery systems, inverters, DC-DC chargers & solar setups
* Lighting, accessories, Anderson plugs & trailer wiring
* Brake controller wiring and compliance checks
* Fault finding, testing and final commissioning
* Advanced Suspension System Installation - Incl Air Suspension Systems & Hydraulic Disc Braking
* General Assembly & Production
* Working closely with production and service teams
* Maintaining high quality and safety standards
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Experience in Vehicle Fit-out & Installations
* Previous experience in auto mechanics, or trailer/caravan building.
* Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery safely and effectively.
* Understanding of mechanical systems, suspension setups, and trailer/caravan components.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Desirable:
* Experience with 12V electrical systems and wiring.
* 240v Experience & Trade Qualifications.
* Knowledge of caravan compliance standards and regulations.
* Experience in the Installation of REDARC & Enerdrive Components.
* Relevant trade qualifications.
