About The Role
Reporting to the Hospitality Coordinator – Wagga Leisure, this role supports hospitality operations across Council venues including the Oasis Aquatic Centre, Jim Elphick Tennis Centre, Wagga Wagga Airport and the Livestock Marketing Centre.
You'll gain practical experience in food and beverage service, catering, customer service and venue operations, while completing a Certificate III in Hospitality or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery through a structured traineeship.
What You'll Be Doing
* Supporting day‐to‐day hospitality operations across multiple Council venues
* Assisting with food and beverage preparation, presentation, service and catering for events
* Delivering friendly, high‐quality customer service in a fast‐paced environment
* Assisting with stock control, ordering and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and safety
* Developing hospitality skills through on‐the‐job training, study and responsible service of alcohol practices

* Previous hospitality experience is welcomed but not essential. Attitude, motivation and willingness to learn are key!
What You Will Need To Succeed
* Class P1, P2 or C Driver's Licence
* Willingness to work and study, undertaking a Certificate III in Hospitality / Commercial Cookery or other relevant qualification
* Willingness to obtain Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), Food Safety Supervisor Certificate, and First Aid and CPR as part of the traineeship
