The Business Process Mapping Analyst plays a key role in Project Elevate, capturing and documenting business processes during facilitated workshops and translating them into clear, standards-aligned enterprise process artefacts. The role also provides practical guidance on BPM best practices to ensure process models are consistent, comparable, and support effective enterprise decision-making. This role is based in Brisbane and is a one-year fixed term contract.
What you'll be doing...
Key responsibilities include:
* Capturing processes live during workshops
* Developing and refining process maps using stakeholder feedback and AI-generated notes
* Ensuring consistency across functions, streams, and regions
* Advising on BPM best practices, process decomposition, and appropriate levels of detail
* Supporting governance, quality assurance, and future-state process design
* Promoting pragmatic, reusable, and user-friendly process models
* Driving continuous improvement, efficiency, and compliance initiatives
* Success in the role is measured through accurate process capture, consistent and high-quality artefacts, minimal rework, and strong stakeholder confidence.
* Demonstrated understanding of BPM best practices, governance, and pragmatic process modelling techniques.
* Proven ability to model processes live and at pace during workshops with stakeholders.
* High attention to detail, with sound judgement in delivering fit-for-purpose process models and documentation.
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders, facilitators, and cross-functional teams.
* Comfortable using approved process modelling tools and templates, including Lucidchart.
* Experience working with AI-generated notes, workshop outputs, and collaboration feedback to refine and document processes effectively.
