About The Role
South West Healthcare's Portland Community Mental Health Service is seeking passionate and dedicated clinician to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinical specialists. As we work together to achieve the best possible clinical outcomes.
* Specialist mental health service for adults aged between 18-65 years old experiencing major mental illness
* Multidisciplinary and integrated mental health response team providing crisis assessment and intervention
* Focused on short-term and long-term evidence based recovery interventions for both patients and their families
Working in a fulltime capacity you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader and Psychiatrist in leading and coordinating the multi-disciplinary team to provide high quality integrated mental health services.
The role requires you to use your clinical skills to provide:
* Evidence based assessment.
* Direct service provision to groups and individuals.
* Primary and Secondary Consultation to mental health and wellbeing sector partners
* Community Development and Education as appropriate to the role.
* Line management supervision, secondary consult to staff, overseeing site operations when Team Leader is unavailable or on leave.

Registered Nurse
* Registered nurse with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* At least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services
* Completed either Post Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or Masters of Mental Health Nursing (or other relevant Post Graduate Course) required or completion of a specialist undergraduate Mental Health Nursing program
Occupational Therapist
* Degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA
* At least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services
Social Worker
* Degree in Social Work & eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers,
* At least 7 years' experience in the provision of mental health services
Psychologist
* Psychologist with registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist and
* At least 5 years' experience in the provision of mental health services
