Aboriginal Education Strategic Delivery Officer, SEO1 (IDENTIFIED)
Temporary full-time appointment for a period of up to 3 years.
Responsibilities
Providing high level support and advice to schools, school communities and key stakeholders in the implementation of culturally responsive programs and initiatives for the purpose of strengthening teaching practice to improve academic outcomes for Aboriginal students.
Qualifications
* Designation for employment of an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person.
* Must provide documentation of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent upon appointment.
* Required to have a Working with Children Check clearance number and complete a National Criminal Record Check.
* This initiative is authorised by the Department's Equal Employment Opportunity Management Plan in accordance with Part 9A of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
Benefits
* Package of $182,921 total remuneration, including salary ranging from $149,059 to $161,377.
* Includes employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
