Overview Overview of the Role: The role of the Head of Operations – Media is to work in close partnership with the Chief Media Officer to lead operational transformation and implement best practice across our media agencies.
Publicis Groupe ANZ's media practice includes the following business units: Spark Foundry (ANZ), Zenith (AUS), Starcom (AUS), MBM (NZ), Razorfish (AUS) and Atomic 212 (AUS).
The primary focus will be to support each of the business units to develop their product offering and operating systems to be more effective and efficient.
This will include developing best practice processes, agency and client models including on and offshore teams, uses of technology, and commercial management.
Core Responsibilities: People Creating long-term business performance through a sustainable business model and team structures.
Product Creating competitive advantage through innovation and media excellence.
Creating greater efficiency and effectiveness through automation and more broadly role of technology including AI across media processes.
Support business units CEO/COO on product growth including leveraging Publicis Media tools.
New Business Supporting Publicis Media and business unit growth pipeline.
Providing strategic and operational support for major new and organic opportunities.
Commercial Supporting revenue growth and profitability.
Support business units CEO/COO/CFO on capacity and profitability through analysis framework, forecasting and reporting and ongoing management Global & Regional Alignment Adopting global strategy and best practice.
Working with Publicis Media global counterparts to accelerate Connected Media strategy across ANZ.
Working with Publicis global and regional counterparts to implement technologies and best practice relevant to ANZ market and each specific business unit or global client What Type of Person Will Be Successful in This Role: Passionate about the media and advertising industry Possessing a broad understanding of macro-economic influences, structural trends and current marketing science concepts.
Demonstrate tact, maturity and strong interpersonal skills.
Collaborative spirit and influential - Conduct all business relationships in an efficient, courteous and straightforward manner.

Make complex things simple, easy for other people to understand and action.You'll Possess Typical Experience Required: 15 years + Proven experience in operational functions or similar leadership role.
Experience with implementing systems, processes and agency wide initiatives.
Knowledge of data analytics and reporting, including proficiency in analytics tools such as Power BI Evidence of embedding AI platforms including identification, evaluation and change management Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership ability.
Analytical mind.
Problem-solving aptitude.
Possess strong financial management skills and business acumen.
Excellence in stakeholder management.
