The ideal candidate would be someone looking to make the jump from the automotive spray-painting industry into the earthmoving/construction industry.
This is a great opportunity for the right person to develop operating skills and a good understanding of the industry as well as developing skills which may provide further opportunities for career advancement.We encourage those who are looking to gain more experience with earthmoving and agricultural equipment to apply.RequirementsMust be experienced with automotive spray painting.A team playerHave basic mechanical or electrical experience.Ability to demonstrate initiative.Well presented.Availability to work 7.30AM - 4PM - Monday to FridayResponsibilitiesSafely moving equipment and vehicles around the yardConducting cyclic condition checks on stock machinesLoading and Unloading machines for transport in accordance with CoR regulations.Machine Detailing and automotive painting.Assisting our technicians both in the workshop.Pre delivery of new machinery.Keeping paperwork in orderMaintaining a safe and clean work environmentParticipating in a positive workshop cultureExperience and qualificationsEssential experience with hand and power toolsPrevious Trade Assistant experience (preferred but not essential)Familiarity with heavy mechanical parts and machinery advantageousA valid drivers licenseWH&S; awarenessThe ability to work autonomously or as part of a teamA robust willingness to learn and develop new skillsApplication questionsHow many years\' experience do you have as a spraypainter?
