As a member of a multidisciplinary nursing team, you will participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Enrolled Nurse delivers quality evidence-based nursing care within their scope of practice.
The Role:
You will work in consultation and co-operation with other care team members to provide care according to the physical and emotional needs of the patient and their families.
* Assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of the day to day mental health and basic physical care requirements of patients.
* Participate in patient assessments, including mental health, risk assessment and management, history taking and developing comprehensive nursing care plans.
* Administer medication within scope of the Enrolled Nurse classification and in accordance with statutory and organisational guidelines under the direct or indirect supervision of the Registered Nurse.
* Advise and educate patients regarding treatment and recovery in relevant specialty.
* Utilise and promote reflective practice models, such as Clinical Supervision to promote best practice, heighten awareness and development of self and colleagues.
You will have a current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and demonstrated clinical experience within a Surgical environment.

Benefits:
Salary: $64,529 to $71,737 per annum (pro rata for part time), plus 11.5% superannuation.
