Severe and Complex Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist
We are seeking a skilled clinician to join our team in Mount Isa, providing specialist treatment services for individuals and families affected by drug and alcohol issues.
About the Role:
* Provide expert clinical management and leadership to the team.
* Build strategic networks and partnerships with local youth organisations to improve outcomes.
* Develop and lead initiatives to engage young people in harm minimisation models.
* Collaborate with community groups to provide leadership and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality treatment services to clients with complex needs.
* Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve positive outcomes.
* Provide education and training to staff and community members.
Requirements:
* Mandatory qualifications include a tertiary degree in Psychology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy, and relevant registration/licences.
* C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
* Pre-employment screening will be conducted, including Criminal History checks.
* This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to Hepatitis A, B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
