**Your new role**
We are seeking a talented Governance Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis. As part of the role you will be responsible for Coordinating the City's Governance function ensuring its effective and efficient operation in line with organisational needs whilst facilitating accountability, transparency and legislative compliance. You will also be responsible for encouraging and facilitating good governance and management of risk across the city.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to support the individual development needs of the team
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build influential relationships across the business
- Ability to interpret and solve complex problems.
- High level of analytical, investigative and research skills.
- Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working in a statutory or regulatory environment.
- Experience developing policies, procedures and associated documentation.
- Ability to work cohesively, efficiently and effectively in a team environment
**What you'll get in return**
This is a permanent full time role sitting in their Corporate Services area. On offer is competitive salary paying up to $115,500 + super, 5 weeks annual leave, staff parking/ daily travel allowance, flexible hours and many other staff benefits.
