Position Overview
OU Health is hiring Registered Nurses at levels I, II, and III, based on experience and education, to provide high-quality patient care in our hospital setting. Responsibilities
Deliver safe, effective nursing care in accordance with OU Health standards and values.
Manage assigned patient loads, documenting responses and treatments accurately.
Assist physicians with examinations and diagnostic procedures.
Monitor and respond to patient physiological data.
Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products.
Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
Seek mentorship and maintain professional licensure to develop nursing skills.
Collaborate with team members and support staff, delegating tasks as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications by Level
RN I: Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; 0-3 years of experience; valid RN license; BLS certification.
RN II: Same educational requirements; 3-5 years of experience; valid RN license; BLS certification.
RN III: Bachelor's Degree required, Master's preferred; 5+ years of experience; valid RN license; BLS and specialty certifications preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
Professional nursing theory and practice.
Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Ability to foster an inclusive and respectful environment.
Proficiency with healthcare technology and compliance standards.
