At the School of Medicine and Public Health, we are dedicated to advancing knowledge and improving health outcomes through rigorous research and innovative approaches. Our research focuses on a wide range of topics. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our impactful research projects.

Under the guidance of the Research Fellow, the Research Assistant will play a vital role in various research projects, providing support in project management, ethics applications, manuscript preparation, grant applications, and more. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to health research. This includes:
* Working collaboratively as part of the research team, providing support in various research activities.
* Developing research materials and processes, including survey development, database management, and ethics applications.
* Coordinating peer-reviewed and grey literature reviews, utilizing Endnote for reference management.
* Contributing to research outcomes by assisting in the preparation of reports, peer-reviewed publications, and conference materials.
* Identifying and preparing grant applications for internal and external funding opportunities, ensuring timely submission.
* Performing administrative duties such as organizing meetings, and preparing documents.
* Coordinating stakeholder engagement activities as required, maintaining effective communication with internal and external collaborators.
* Providing support for meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and follow-up on action items.

This Fixed Term position is full time at a HEW 6 Higher Education Level until June 2027 and will be based at HMRI (Awabakal and Worimi land).
