Role Purpose The Project Manager is the accountable leader for the project. Their ultimate purpose is to: Lead, manage and motivate the team towards successful project delivery. Lead and influence stakeholders to ensure a successful client and NRI business outcome. Set direction, address blockers and manage the team ecosystem so delivery potential is optimised Key Accountabilities • Act as the primary point of contact with the client • Prepare the Engagement Management Plan (EMP) and gain client endorsement • Engage subject matter experts within NRI to obtain expertise on set up for the project • Lead the kickoff and induct NRI consultants where relevant into the project • Direct day to day project effort to agreed KPIs, ensuring NRI fulfils its contractual obligations • Manage 3rd parties, suppliers and sub-contractors for whom NRI is responsible • Ensure the client and 3rd parties are aware of their contractual obligations • Manage the project budget (as agreed with the Delivery Owner) • Forecast and advise on revenue recognition and triggering of milestone payments • Raise and manage project change requests and variations in liaison with relevant stakeholders • Prepare and deliver status reports • Manage risks and issues, escalating to the client and/or NRI Delivery Owner for resolution • Manage client acceptance and sign off for deliverables, including drafting acceptance certificates • Initiate a Post Implementation Review (where required) • Obtain required client reference/case study information as agreed with the Opportunity Owner Knowledge/Skills/Abilities 3 years project delivery experience Demonstrated ability to manage clients and other stakeholders Excellent organisational and time management skills Ability to resolve conflict Proven team building and motivation skills PMBOK or Prince2 certification desirable
