As a Production Planning Expert, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between design, planning, manufacturing, and construction. Your role will ensure efficient scheduling and delivery of products while leveraging advanced software tools to manage production capacity.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and adjust manufacturing production schedules in roll forming and fabrication.
2. Integrate Tekla Structures detailing into planning activities to ensure alignment between models and shop floor requirements.
3. Manage project milestones, stock control, and material orders using ERP systems.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design and capacity constraints.
5. Monitor manufacturing production progress and respond to issues affecting timelines or material availability.
6. Use Trello boards to coordinate task assignments, monitor progress, and streamline hand-offs between departments.
7. Maintain accurate data on job status, materials, and output within ERP for operational reporting.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Proven experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing context.
* Proficiency using Trello (or similar Kanban tools) for project coordination and team communication.
* Solid background in steel fabrication and workshop planning.
* Experienced with Tekla Structures for interpreting and modelling structural steel drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities under tight deadlines.
* Confident communicator across departments and external stakeholders.
