Seeking a skilled Finance Officer / Assistant Accountant to join this incredible organisation, firstly on a temporary basis with a view to permanency.
This organisation plays an important role in funding the ongoing development of their sporting code via their affiliates, schools, competitions and academies across all WA communities.
Driving participation in the game is the organisations key deliverable ensuring the sport has an active role in building better communities through various development programs from elite level to grassroots.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Executive, the duties will include:
* Management of the Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable function
* Invoicing and following up on periodic payments from sponsors
* Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
* Processing payments and handling daily banking activities
* Identifying data irregularities to management
* Generating invoices and receipting payments
* Reconciliation of expense accounts
* Adhoc reporting as requested by the Senior Finance Executive
* Assisting with balance sheets, statements and other financial reports
To be successful in this role you must have excellent attention to detail, be a team player, be self motivated and inquisitive and take ownership of your duties and responsibilities.
Previous experience with Microsoft Business Central and SAP Concur would be advantageous but most important is your ability to adapt to new systems easily.
