EGS Survey Pty Ltd (EGS Australia) are searching for experienced CPHS1 Hydrographic Surveyors to
join our team.
Australia but also globally in both the inshore and offshore environments.
Our CPHS1 Surveyors are involved with all aspects of projects including tendering, survey planning,
equipment preparation, vessel mobilisation, equipment calibration/verification, survey acquisition
and QC, data processing and QC, reporting and project management.
Working in small survey teams, our CPHS1 Surveyors are responsible for acquiring high quality
hydrographic survey data that meets high specifications and are required to sign off on survey
deliverables. They are also involved in acquisition of other survey and positioning, geophysical and
geotechnical data (USBL subsea positioning, side scan sonar, sub-bottom profiler, magnetometer,
multi-channel seismic, CPTs as well as others). All our surveyors work closely with our survey engineers
to assist in equipment preparation, interfacing and configuration.

- Be able to act as Emergency Control Team Information Coordinator.
- Demonstrate competence developing and maintaining sound co-worker relationships.
**General Requirements**
- Willing to relocate to Perth, Western Australia and be eligible to work in Australia.
- CPHS1 accreditation or pathway and commitment to obtaining CPHS1 accreditation.
- University degree in survey or a closely related discipline.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work away from home for long periods
- Be self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure in a team environment.
- Knowledge of computer interfacing and networking.
- A basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage.
- Current OGUK medical and BOSIET/FOET certificates are an advantage.
