Pacific Aviation Sector Advisory Services
The role of Aviation Adviser is to provide expert support to the Australia-Pacific Partnerships for Aviation (P4A) program, working collaboratively with Ministries, regulators, airport authorities, and airlines across the region.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing advisory services to strengthen the Pacific aviation sector and improve safety outcomes;
* Working with stakeholders to develop and implement effective policies, regulations, and plans;
* Identifying opportunities for improved coordination and cooperation among aviation actors;
* Developing and implementing capacity-building programs to enhance partner capabilities;
* Suggesting innovative solutions to address cross-cutting themes such as gender equality, disability inclusion, and environmental sustainability.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience in one or more areas of expertise;
* A minimum of 10 years significant working experience in a relevant field, preferably in the Pacific Island countries or similar operating environment;
* Demonstrated knowledge of the Pacific aviation sector and industry trends;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a development partner context.
