They are seeking a visionary and contemporary leader to join their executive team in the pivotal new role of General Manager, People & Culture.

About the Role:

They are looking for a strategic leader who understands that an organi sation's greatest asset is its culture and the people who bring their parklands to life every day. As the General Manager, People & Culture, you will be the architect of their employee experience, the champion of their values and the driving force behind a workplace where their team of approximately 80 talented individuals can thrive, innovate and feel a deep sense of connection to their purpose.

You will be a trusted advisor to the CEO, the executive team and the Board, providing strategic counsel on all matters relating to people, culture and organisational effectiveness. Your mandate will be to enhance a n established proactive, people-centric function that is deeply integrated into the fabric of their organi sation. You will lead the development and implementation of a holistic People & Culture strategy that not only attracts and retains top talent but also fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous learning.

Your Contribution

* Culture & Engagement: Design and lead initiatives that cultivate a positive, inclusive and high-performing culture. You will be the custodian of their organisational values, ensuring they are embedded in everything they do.
* Leadership & Capability: Coach and partner with their executive leaders, enhancing their ability to lead with empathy, inspire their teams and drive performance and accountability.
* Organi sational Design & Change: Act as a key architect in their organi sational evolution, providing strategic advice on structure, role design and championing change management with sensitivity and transparency to ensure their people are supported and engaged through transformation.
* Performance and engagement: Reimagine their approach to onboarding and performance and accountability, creating a seamless and enriching employee journey and creating a framework for talent development and succession planning.
* Employee Relations & Wellbeing: Champion a proactive, fair and supportive approach to employee relations, wellbeing and safety, ensuring their people feel psychologically and physically safe at work.

About You

You are a contemporary and influential people and culture leader. You are known for your strategic mindset and your ability to connect with people at all levels of an organi sation. You are a natural coach, a trusted confidant and a courageous leader who is not afraid to challenge the status quo to achieve better outcomes for people and the business.

Critically, you understand the nuances of working in a complex stakeholder environment and can navigate these dynamics. You lead with empathy, build trust through your actions, and are passionate about creating a workplace where people feel valued, heard and inspired.

While you will have a strong foundation in the technical aspects of human resources, your real passion lies in the strategic interplay between people, culture, and organisational success. You have a proven track record of shaping positive workplace cultures and leading successful change initiatives.
