All training programs include first aid, CPR, training in Manual Handling and work placement.

A leading and well established Disability facility requires Disability Support Workers (DSW's) to work on a casual basis with the view to permanency.
The successful candidates must be flexible and available to work with people with a variety of disabilities.
As a Disability Support Worker your role will include but is certainly not limited to the following:
- supporting individual participation in social and recreational activities
- undertaking tasks outside the home such as shopping, visiting friends and family
- personal care
- light domestic duties such as meal preparation and cleaning
- manual handling and/or the use of equipment to support mobility (wheelchairs or hoists)
- providing companionship and emotional support
- transportation
