Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Data Modeller role located in Sydney, NSW. The Senior Data Modeller will design and develop data models to support business and analytics initiatives. The role includes working closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, creating logical and physical data models, and ensuring consistency with data governance and industry best practices. The role involves documenting metadata, optimizing database performance, and delivering high-quality solutions for complex data environments.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Data Modeling, Data Architecture, and Database Design
* Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, and Data Management
* Experience in Cloud-based data platforms, Big Data, and Data Virtualization
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills
* Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools
* Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
* Experience with tools or technologies such as SQL, ER/Studio, Erwin, and cloud-native databases (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
