Job Description
Our Outside School Hours Care service, Googong OSHClub, is looking for a passionate Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent full-time opportunity offering 38 hours per week to lead a team of passionate Educators.
You will work across split shifts supporting the service’s hours of Monday - Friday, 6:30am - 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:00pm - 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program), plus administrative hours. Block shifts during school holidays are also available!
About the role
Leading a team of Educators, you will manage a service at a primary school for children aged 5-12 years before and after school. You will have support from a state-specific office and regional managers who visit and mentor regularly.
* Develop and facilitate engaging, child-centered programs including STEM, sports, cooking, art, and craft.
* Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
* Lead onsite Educators, including roster management.
* Manage daily operations, compliance, and administration of the service.
Who are we looking for?
We can teach you about the sector, but you should have:
* A passion for working with children.
* Strong and clear communication skills.
* A team player with leadership aspirations.
* Willingness to obtain a national police check (paid for by us) and a state check for working with children.
* Australian work rights.
* Participation in the Early Childhood Worker Retention Grant is encouraged.
