Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Service Operations Manager at our automotive dealership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the service department, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
* Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining high-quality workmanship and meeting performance targets
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and vendors to drive business growth and improve overall efficiency
* Optimize service delivery processes to minimize costs and maximize profits
* Set and achieve sales and profit objectives through effective planning, coordination, and control
* Direct and control the activities of technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards
* Collaborate with the Sales Manager to drive CRM scores and enhance customer engagement
* Maintain close monitoring and control of the service process to identify areas for improvement
Requirements:
* Proven leadership experience in a service environment, preferably within the automotive industry
* Strong knowledge of service department processes, policies, and procedures
* Excellent customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
* Experience in managing Service Department KPIs and excellent time management skills
* Knowledge of industry-standard software applications, such as Pentana Solutions (Reynolds & Reynolds), is an asset
* Current Manual Driver's License
