What You Will Be Doing
* Monitor and control kiln operations to dry timber to specified moisture levels, ensuring product stability and durability.
* Ensure optimal kiln and boiler performance, including accurate monitoring and record keeping.
* Assist with general maintenance and care of plant and equipment.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
* Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and operational standards.
What You Will Need
* Experience in boiler and/or kiln operation is advantageous but not essential.
* Mechanically and technically minded with a willingness to learn.
* Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
* Forklift licence and experience desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* A positive, professional, reliable, and energetic attitude.
