The role
We are currently seeking an outgoing and warm person to make an impact as a full‐time Receptionist at the Gungahlin Lakes Golf and Community Club, representing the Ainslie Group as the first point of contact for our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests that enter the Club in a polite, friendly and professional manner.
- Ensure all patrons are current members and/or facilitate appropriate sign‐in for guests in accordance with Club Policy and Legislation.
- Enforce Dress Regulations with all patrons in accordance with Club Policy and the Anti‐Discrimination Act.
- Enforce all security, RSA, RCG and other patron‐related policies and procedures, including refusal of entry.
- Maintain awareness of KYC and enforce/reports self‐exclusion entry attempts to Gaming Coordinator.
- Provide accurate information for self‐exclusion readmittance.
- Accurate cash handling and dispense, alongside appropriate record keeping for gambling harm purposes.
- Manage all incoming calls and general patron enquiries appropriately, in accordance with Club policies and procedures.
- Assist with general administration and data entry tasks, as directed by Management.
- Perform various cleaning duties of common areas such as foyer and reception.
- Maintain personal presentation to the highest standard.
- Any other duties as listed in the PD for the role, or as directed by Management.

- High‐level verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Ability to receive and act on constructive feedback.
- General IT knowledge to facilitate computer systems use.
- A lively and dynamic individual with a keen eye for customer needs and delivering memorable experiences.
- Valid RSA, RCG, and Police Clearance.
- Immaculate grooming and hygiene standards.
