Job Description:

As a Graduate Agronomist, you will be responsible for supporting and implementing agronomy programs and innovation projects to improve yield, fruit quality, and sustainability of farming operations. You will work in the Citrus category, assisting with crop planning, pest and disease management, irrigation, and soil management.
Some key responsibilities include:
* Assisting with crop planning and setting up field trials to test new crop varieties, fertilisers, pesticides, and techniques
* Monitoring crop health and diagnosing issues (pests, diseases, nutrient deficiencies)
* Collecting and analysing data on crop performance and yield
* Understanding product defects and their effects on quality scores
* Coordinating harvest planning, supervision, and post-harvest techniques to reduce spoilage and maintain freshness
Key Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have:
* A bachelor's or postgraduate degree in Agricultural Science, Horticulture, Agribusiness, Ecology, or related fields
* A valid driver's licence and reliable personal transport
* The ability to travel and work in different sites
* Full working rights in Australia
