The Role They are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (PBSA / BTR) to oversee the running of a key asset as well as managing an onsite team. Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, including property management, leasing & lease renewals, pastoral care, facilities management, and customer service. Have detailed knowledge of all management agreements and ensure the business performs and exceeds expectations/KPIs outlined in the management agreements. Ensure the property is operated and maintained to the highest standards, including cleanliness, safety, and service quality. Implement operational management principles, regulations, and best practices. Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with the sales and marketing team and provide support as needed. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business, Real Estate, or related field preferred. 10 years in real estate, ideally in Residential / Living, Purpose Built Student Accommodation, or BTR. Relevant real estate certification (REIQ) essential, with willingness to act as a licensee in charge. Proven ability to motivate, encourage, and lead a team to success. Experience managing large-scale operations or multiple assets.
