Job Description What you’ll do Technical Excellence Architect & Build: Drive the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and maintainable features, ensuring alignment with core architectural principles. Code Excellence: Write high-quality, testable code and champion SOLID principles and modern design patterns. End-to-End Ownership: Lead the breakdown and delivery of major epics, managing technical risks, estimations, and production health. Operational Excellence: Maintain CI/CD pipelines, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and lead incident troubleshooting and post-mortems. AI & Innovation AI-First Development: Champion the use of AI tools (like GitHub Copilot) to optimize development workflows and enhance team productivity. Desired Skills and Experience What we would like to see you bring to the team Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5 years of demonstrated experience as a software engineer in an agile/scrum environment. Strong proficiency in Java and Spring. Ability to learn and adapt to different programming languages and frameworks as needed. Deep understanding of Spring Boot, Hibernate, MVC, and design patterns. Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS), API design, microservices, event-driven architecture (e.g., Kafka), and an understanding of Domain Driven Design. Proficiency with SQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and code versioning tools like Git. Security-minded development approach (OWASP top 10 awareness). Understanding of fundamental design principles for building scalable and concurrent applications. Experience with observability, monitoring, and debugging production systems.
